    Adriaen (Arien) Leendertsz., geb. naar schatting ca. 1545, boer, landpachter in het Nieuw bedijkte Land van Pendrecht (Nieuw -Pendrecht), schout van Pendrecht (vermeld gevonden 1585-1589, 1593-1594, 1602, 1606), begr. Barendrecht 26-3-1625, tr. N.N.
    Omstreeks 1580/1591 was Adriaen Lenertsz. met Bastiaen Florisz. en Aert Jansz. pachter van 12 morgen in het Nieuw bedijkte Land van Pendrecht.
    Adriaen zegelde op 1-9-1593 met in het wapen een hooivork als schout van Pendrecht. (correctie; dit was geen zegel maar een handmerkje correctie van KJ Slijkerman juli 2009)
    Vermoedelijk was hij identiek met de Adriaen Lenaertsz., die op 29-4-1597 op ‘de oude sluys’ (= Smitshoek) te Barendrecht woonde. Zijn kleinzoon Gerrit bezat daar in 1662 een huis dat oostelijk door deze sluis w erd begrensd. In 1606 komt hij nog voor als schout van Pendrecht. Misschien was hij dezelfde als de Adriaen Lenerts, die op 12-5-1619 te B arendrecht als doopgetuige optrad voor een kind van (zijn kleinzoon ?) Comelis A driaensz. Saly. In de rekening van de Barendrechtse D iakonie over 1624/’25 staat genoteerd: ‘ontfangen op ten X X V J m eert (=1625) vant cleet deon A rien Lenertss. Schout begraven is’5

    Adriaen Leendertsz., schout te Pendrecht, droeg (kort voor zijn dood) bij akte van 17-2- 1625 aan zijn zoon Leenert Adriaensz. ‘Pendrecht’ over alle inboedel, huisraad, kleding en uitstaande schulden die hij dan nog te vorderen heeft van Claes Goris, Hendrick de Lange en Henrick Jansz. van Charlois en nog een schuld staande op (zijn schoonzoon) Ploon Aertsz. uit West-Barendrecht volgens akte gepasseerd voor Sebastiaen Wittensz. en Aert Sebastiaensz. (de vader van Ploon Aertsz.), schepenen van Pendrecht van 17-2-1612
