    Jacomina (Mina) had ernstige longproblemen die in de oorlog niet te behandelen waren. Pas na de oorlog kwam de zorg weer op gang en werd ze doorgestuurd naar Utrecht. Daar werd ze geopereerd. Een paar dagen na de operatie overleed ze.
    Mina woonde haar hele leven bij haar ouders in, aanvankelijk zorgde ze ook voor hen maar naarmate ze zieker werd nam haar zus Jo de zorg voor haar ouders en voor Mina over.
