Deze ridderorde is sinds 1370 ook bekend als eigenaar van de oudste molen van Waregem: de Spitaalmolen. De rechtstreekse voorouder Naesens Joannes 1590 was de zoon van Nasins Joannes (in 1562 als enige Naessens te Waregem) bekend onder Naesins Jan als gezinshoofd.
