Notes about Dirk LOUW

Dirk is considered as the second progenitor of the Louw-family in South Africa. In 1860 he left Nederland on the Willem Frederik with his wife and 5 children to the Cape of Good Hope. They arrived on 23 Nov 1860 in Durban and settled in Natal. In the beginning of Jun 1888 Dirk and his eldest son Kaas (Nicolaas) were murdered by the Zulus
