De zoon van Jan en Geertruijt was Willem Jan Pijlijser, geboren rond 1415, overleden 18 juni 1474.
Hij was getrouwd met Johanna van Wijfflit (Wijtvliet) en het aardige is, dat deze Johanna via de bastaard Jan van Wijfflit ook van het hertogenhuis afstamde, en wel van hertog Jan II , die geen haar beter was als zijn vader Jan I......Willem en Johanna hadden vier kinderen: Barbara, Jan, Henrik en Johanna.
