Hendricus Lambertus wordt in 1913 gekeurd voor de Militie en geschikt bevonden. Hij is lang 1.69 m. Hij krijgt 1 jaar uitstel voor de eerste oefening en wordt op 01-10-1913 ingedeeld bij het 18e Regiment Infanterie. Op 01-10-1933 wordt hij ontslagen met bewijs van ontslag wegens diensteindiging.
Uit Politierapporten 1940-1945: Hendricus Lambertus komt meerdere malen voor in de politierapporten. De eerste vermelding is van 29-04-1941. Hij wordt samen met een andere man in de van Hallstraat en omgeving betrapt bij het verspreiden van pamfletten. Dit is op grond van een gemeentebesluit verboden. Op het politiebureau verklaart hij en de ander man, dat zij de pamfletten in opdracht van kringleider. De politie neemt contact op met de secretaris van de betrokken kring, die meedeelt, dat het verbod op het verspreiden van pamfletten niet van toepassing is op de N.S.B. Uit deze mutatie kan worden opgemaakt, dat Hendricus Lambertus lid was van de N.S.B.
Op 01-07-1941 doet Hendricus Lambertus samen met twee andere mannen aangifte van oplichting. Aan een bij de politie bekende man hebben zij geld in voorschot gegeven voor een partij sigaren. De man heeft het geld ten eigen bate opgemaakt en de sigaren dus nooit afgeleverd.
Op 03-08-1941 wordt in de Groen van Prinstererstraat door een burger een man aangehouden. Deze wordt samen met drie andere mannen, waaronder Hendricus Lambertus naar het politiebureau gebracht. Daar verklaren Hendricus Lambertus, dat de aangehouden man, samen met een weggelopen ma, op hun huizen met verf witte vraagtekens hadden geschilderd. Een onderzoek van de politie heeft niet kunnen vaststellen, dat de aangehouden man dit heeft gedaan. Een onderzoek naar de weggelopen man was negatief.
Hendricus Lambertus wordt op 26-06-1942 op het politiebureau als arrestant ingesloten. Het is niet bekend, waarvoor hij is aangehouden. Een mutatie over zijn aanhouding en heenzending ontbreken.
Hendricus Lambertus is ook enkele malen het slachtoffer van een diefstal. Op 15-12-1942 wordt uit perceel Bickersgracht 72 door middel van inbraak van hem 6 chromen concerttrommels gestolen. Op 09-069-1943 wordt in de 1e Constantijn Huijgensstraat zijn fiets gestolen.
Hendricus Lambertus was, samen met zijn broer Andries en zijn vrouw/nicht Theodora Christina Catharina Dijst, tijdens de oorlog lid van de NSB. Hij staat vermeld in het boekje "Ledenlijst NSB, uitgave van de Politieke Opsporingsdienst, district Amsterdam".
