Notes about Andries Dijst

Andries wordt op 30-04-1924 voorgoed vrijgesteld van Militiedienst door broederdienst.
Andries trouwt met zijn nicht. Zij is de dochter van Theodorus Dijst (1871), die een broer is van de vader van Andries, Hendricus Lambertus (1866).
Deze 'traditie' wordt door de kinderen voortgezet. De zoon van Andries en Theodora, Johannes Lambertus (1928) trouwt met zijn nicht Maria Wilhelmina Bogaers, dochter van de zuster (Cornelia Maria 1902) van zijn vader.
Uit Politierapporten 1940-1945: Andries komt tweemaal voor in de politierapporten. Op 07-01-1942 doet hij als vertegenwoordiger van NVV aangifte van inbraak in de loods op de Brouwersgracht 193 te Amsterdam. Er zijn diverse goederen gestolen. Op 09-05-1942 stichten enkele jongens achter zijn schuur en de schuur van een buurman een brandje. In de schuren zijn diverse goederen verbrand. De brandweer heeft de brand geblust en de politie heeft een mutatie opgenomen in het politierapport.
Andries en Theodora Christina Catharina waren, samen met hun broer/neef Hendricus Lambertus Dijst, tijdens de oorlog lid van de NSB. Zij staan vermeld in het boekje "Ledenlijst NSB, uitgave van de Politieke Opsporingsdienst, district Amsterdam".
