    Arnold I van Loon (ca. 1050 - ca. 1126) was graaf van het graafschap Loon als opvolger van zijn vader Emmo.

    Arnold werd in 1078 of eerder graaf van Loon. In 1086 werd hij ook voogd van de Sint-Pieter te Luik. In 1088 bemiddelde Arnold in een conflict over de benoeming van de abt van Sint-Truiden. Door de inzet van Arnold werd niet de kandidaat van Hendrik I van Verdun maar die van de bisschop van Luik verkozen. In 1094 verwierf hij de functie van voogd van Sint-Truiden, voor de bezittingen in het bisdom Metz - ondanks fel verzet van Hendrik I van Limburg. Arnold nam deel aan de eerste kruistocht, in het contigent van Godfried van Bouillon. In 1115 erfde hij van zijn schoonvader de functies van burggraaf van Mainz en graaf van Rieneck. In 1119 steunde Arnold de kandidatuur van Frederik van Namen voor de functie van bisschop van Luik, die inderdaad werd gekozen.
