    Nog vóór 1440 verkocht de minderjarige Adriaen met zijn broer Gherijt, beiden bijgestaan door Jan Claus die Voeght en Willem Godevaerts Ommaten als hun voogden en guberneerders, eigendom in Tilburg aan Bruysten Bruystens van Andel.*1 Het betrof een huys ende hof met synen gronde ende toebehoren...gelegen inder prochyen van Westilborch bij der woningen spersoens van Tylborch en een stuck landds daer by gelegen aen die ander zyde vanden voirscreven huyse over der straten aldaer.

    Adriaen wordt ook geciteerd als Adrianus Gerardi Smolneeren soen.*2
    Hij bewoonde een huis met hof te Tilburg aan de rijt aan de draaiboom (aenden dreyboem) en bezat land in het Ghilsschot. Hij hypothequeerde deze goederen op 19 juni 1477 met een erfelijke pacht van 10 lopen rogge (188 liter) jaarlijks te leveren aan Peter Goyvaerts die Vette.
