Author: Wiles, Carl; Title: "e-mail regarding David Marlin Wiles," (Publication site: Burlington, WA, Publisher: Lee Burns, Publication date: xxii Apr MMXXII)

"Burlington, WA - David M.Wiles 57 was born to Gilbert Leroy Wiles and Kay Diane (Pocock) Wiles is at rest now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Both parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his older brother Carl Lee Wiles, sister Kathrine Wiles and younger brother Kevin Peterson. David was the grandson of Rena May (Alwood). But wait, that's not all...

After his mother's passing, at age 2 1/2 David went on to join the family of his aunt, Barbara (Pocock) Schimke and her husband Eugene Schimke. It was there that he grew up with Ken, Richard, David and Crystal Schimke in Bow until he was 18. From there for several years he went on tour from place to place with family members and with others. On a daily basis he had to cope with his lifelong struggle of schizophrenia. He ended up landing at the Whatcom Center in Bellingham as an adult, with his final place he called home at Ovenell's in Burlington. His favorite thing was money, so he could get his favorite vice, Marlboro's, his beverage was Coffee, then it was music on a CD player and after that it was shoes, shirt and a belt, peat and repeat.

But now his needs are no more and his wayward journey has come to an end, and he is truly at "Home" with his mother, whom he longed for his entire life and all the others that preceded him. Rest well my brother.

No services will be held and his cremains will be buried along side his mother at Bow cemetery as soon as it can be arranged"
