Elizabeth Donna Bullo
5/18/1943 '96 10/19/2012

Elizabeth Donna Gilbert, age 69, was born in Arlington, WA on May 18th, 1943 to parents Sofus Gilbert and Bernice Johnson. She came from a pioneering family and was raised in the Bryant area, which was dear to her heart. She graduated from Arlington High School and later completed the Culinary Arts program at North Seattle Community College. She fought a courageous battle with breast cancer, and had the heart of a warrior until the very end.
She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. Her parents, her siblings Bernadette & Lawrence, her brother-in-law Reverend Randall S. Bullo and her son Mark A. Smith, preceded her in death. Her loving husband Larry W. Bullo survives her along with her children Michael and Lorraine Smith and Laura and Jason Wheeler; her granddaughters Tabitha and Curtis Donnelson, Sydney Cardin, and Lacey Smith. Her granddaughters were the light of her life and many more "adopted" grandchildren, as well as her "grand-dogs" Trigger, Harley & Gretchen, survive her. She was eagerly expecting her first great grandchild. She is also survived by her brothers Raymond and Trish Gilbert, Richard Gilbert, Steven and Dee Gilbert, and sister-in-law Judy and Earl Lindstrom as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bruce Mathey & Dr. Nicholas Muff and all the wonderful staff at North Puget Sound Cancer Center. The family would also like to thank Marysville Care Center and the entire staff there. She loved you all. Donations can be made in her name to the North Puget Sound Cancer Center, 2000 Hospital Dr., Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284.
A viewing will be held Thursday, October 25, 2012, 12-5 p.m. at Weller Funeral Home, 327 N. MacLeod Ave., Arlington, WA. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 26, 2012, 3 p.m. at Loyal Heights Cemetery, 26812 39th Ave. NE, Arlington, WA. A celebration of life and breast cancer awareness event will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Loyal Heights Community Center, 4301 269th Place, Arlington, WA.
Family asks that people come in casual dress, and we invite you to wear pink in her honor. May angels lead her in."
