'... I found your name on World Connect with your entry of Catherine Evers born in 1905. I recognized the name because distantly she is related to my husband on the Evers side of the family.

Catherine is descended from Joseph Danford Evers. He would be her grandfather. Joseph is the son of William and Catherine Evers of Ashland County and Williams County, Ohio. My husband is descended from Sarah Evers who is the one of thedaughters of William and Catherine.

I was wondering if you knew anything about William and Catherine Evers. I am trying to find both of their parents. William, according to the 1850, 1860, 1870, and 1880 census, was born in Pennsylvania, but the family tradition says hewas born in Ireland. I can't find anything about William from 1804 when he was born to 1842 when he was married. Do you have any information on William and Catherine? I would be happy to share what I have. Thank you, Nancy Manley'
