"WILLIAM KNECHT OBITUARY
William F. "Bill" Knecht, age 71, of Toledo passed away Friday, September 23rd, 2005, in St. Anne Mercy Hospital. He was born December 3rd, 1933, to Joseph and Matilda (Staedele) in Chicago, Illinois. Bill received his Masters Degree from Marshall University. After retiring from Great West Casualty in Bloomington, Indiana in 1999, he moved to Toledo with his wife, Rachel. Currently Bill was employed with the Andersons General Store.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Rachel (Koder) Knecht; stepchildren, Stephen (Denise Dartt) Koder; Theodore Koder and Timothy (Linda) Koder and Shari (Scott) Macklenar; 14 step grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren; brothers, Joseph Knecht of Chicago, Conrad (Marguerite) Knecht of Tucson, AZ, George (Charlotte) Knecht of Kimberly City, MO, Raymond (Beatrice) Knecht of Kimberly City, MS and sister-in-law, Donna (Orville) Stevenson.

Friends are invited to join the family Wednesday at Corpus Christi at the University of Toledo, 2955 Dorr Street for a Memorial Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. James Bacik. Interment will be private.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.newcomerfamily. com

Arrangements handled by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-4730300).
