Hannah Smidt, Lennox, SD - 12/06/05

Lennox - Hannah Smidt, 92, died Sunday, December 4, 2005, at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center.

Hannah Bruns was born May 14, 1913. She married Eddie Smidt in 1933. They farmed south of Lennox. Her husband died in 1980. Later, she moved into Lennox, where she enjoyed quilting at the Senior Citizens Center.

She is survived by her son, Ray (Carol) Smidt of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Cathy (Kevin) Vermillion of Sioux Falls and Mark (JoAnn) Smidt of Lennox; a brother, John D. (Sylvia) Bruns, Lennox; and 2 sisters-in-law, Dena Bruns andGladys Smidt, Lennox.

Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Turner Co. First Presbyterian Church, rural Davis. Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday at Dindot-Klusmann Funeral Home, with the family present from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m."
