Jeanette L. Cramer Johnson is the daughter of Thomas and Maria Theresa Traeger Cramer. She graduated from Moline High School in 1938. She married Edgar F. Johnson on June 28, 1947, in Moline. He preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 1996.

Jeanette worked for 12 years as a secretary to the chief engineer at American Machine and Metals.

Jeanette was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her daughter, Marcia; son, Kent; son-in-law, William; grandchildren, Thomas, James, Deborah, Michelle, Robert, Daniel, Bradley; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Jeremy, Nicholas and Shae Jr., Olivia, Marissa; sisters, Mary Jane Hecht, Betty (Leonard) VanOteghem, Barbara Lundahl; sisters-in-law, Betty Seams, Carol Wheeler, Alice Malone; brother-in-law, Wesley (Mary Kay) Johnson; special friends, Rosemary (Herbert) Overton and family, Scott Devaney; and her Scottie dog, Critter.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margo Geyer; parents; three sisters; and two brothers.
