"Rossow, Rudy - Ida

Rudy and Ida and three daughters moved form Foxhome, Minnesota to George in 1934. This was at the height of the depression years. Rudy and E.E. Manuel and local stock-holders established the George State Bank. The couple was very active in the Immanuel Lutheran Church and many civic organizations. Rud served as the school treasurer for many years. Ida devoted a lot of time as the city librarian and continued that until her death. Rudy retired from banking in 1977.

Their three daughters fraduated from the local school and they are Beryl (m. E.J. Blumeyer), Lorlie, and Margery (m. Duane Thoelke)."
