Grandma Emma Bowles is buried in Alger Cemetery on Bradgate Ave, Cleveland 44111 It is off of Rocky River Dr. about 4 or 6 Streets from Lorain Ave. South of Lorain. It is a very old city Cemetery well kept. the office burned down in 1984 . For information call or write to the General office of cemeteries Highland Park 21400 Chagrin Boulevard Cleveland 44122 - phone 921-4010 I don't know if her husband is buried where she is I always heard that her poor Jim Bowles buried her in Alger Cemetery.' - 29N1985

Viola Bowles writes, 'After Don's mother died when George was 13 days old. I don't know just when she went there to live but I guess it was soon after George came home from the hospital. I forgot to say it is Grandma Bowles I am writing about. They were living at 5810 Clark Ave. Her son George & William were living there also she was there when she got pneumonia & died. Don thinks she was 78. Mrs Folliett lived in the front house After Grandma died Earl Don & Kenwere put in orphanage Mrs. Folliett took Earl & Don out as Ken was adopted before that.' July 1981
