Mrs. Abe Schouten of Rock Valley died about 8:30 Wednesday morning in the Sioux Center hospital after an illness of nearly nine years.

She celebrate her forty-sixth birthday anniversary Monday, June 4.

Funeral services for Mrs. Schouten, will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock in the Vander Ploeg funeral home and at 1:30 o'clock in the First Christian Reformed church. Rev. Christian Huissen will officiate. Burial will be in Valley View cemetery.

Mrs. Schouten is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Robert Molstead and Mrs. Harvey Beukens, two sisters, Mrs. Russ Masterson of Inwood and Mrs. Walter Warntjes of Rock Valley, three brothers, Frank, Tom and H. J. Druyvestyn and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Druyvestyn of Rock Valley along with many other relatives.
