"Mrs. Ingrid Carlson
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the George Boom Funeral Home for Mrs. Ingrid Carlson, 79, of Rt. 2.

She died at her farm home Wednesday.

Ingrid Christena Anderson was born Dec. 11, 1887, at Jamtland, Sweden, where she was married to Jonas Otto Carlson on April 11, 1911. They moved to the United States in 1914, settled in Roseau, Minn., for a brief time before moving to the Canton area. They moved to Sioux Falls in 1926. Mr. Carlson died in 1945, and Mrs. Carlson lived at Fresno, Calif., from 1950-1965.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Louis Picasso and Mrs. Leonard Schafer, both of Sioux Falls, Mrs. Harold Niewald, Hartford, and five sons, Rune, Carl, Elmer (Swede), Arlo and Dennis, all of Sioux Falls; 23 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a brother, in Sweden."
