Mrs. Clara B. Fogle, 76, formerly of Winfield, who resided in Manchester for the past two and a half years, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 1957. She was a daughter of the late Wesley F. and Columbia Barnes and was born in Carroll County. She was twice married. Her first husband was the late John M. Mumford. Her second husband, the late Oliver H. Fogle. Surviving are 11 children, Mrs. Iva Garhart, Berrett; Mrs. Wesley Lambert, Poolesville; John Mumford, Sykesville; Earl, near Winfield; Mrs. Paul Therit, Manchester; Thomas Fogle, Ellicott City; Mrs. Wilbur Blizzard and Mrs. Russell Wineholt, Westminster; Edwin Fogle, Ellicott City; James and Wilbur Fogle, both of Winfield, and a step-son, Luther Fogle, near Winfield; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.- Carroll County Times 5 Dec 1957
