Donna Maurine Heetland Lindaman was born on July 13, 1922 in Ackley, Iowa to Herman and Bonnie (Whitmore) Heetland. She graduated from the Ackley High School in 1940. She was united in marriage to Gloy Lindaman on January 28, 1941 in Ackley, Iowa. She was married to Gloy for 61 years until his passing in April, 2002. Maurine was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She also was a seamstress most of her life. She sewed wedding dresses, clothing, curtains and upholstered furniture for a variety of people and establishments in the Iowa Falls and Ackley area. Her many passions were to collect dolls, accessorize miniature dollhouses, camping with her family at all the parks in Hardin and Franklin County, and play cards with family and friends such as Pepper and Hearts. She is survived by four sons and one daughter. They are Dennis Lindaman of Ozark, Missouri, Rodney Lindaman and his wife Susan of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kendall Lindaman and his wife Ann of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Donnita Off of Iowa Falls, Iowa and Allen Lindaman of Raytown, Missouri; 12 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Bonnie (Whitmore) Heetland, her husband Gloy, 3 sisters, Julanne Heetland, Kathryn Stubbe, and Phyllis Duit, and 3 brothers Ronald Heetland (infancy), Edward (Bud) Heetland, and Herman (Junior) Heetland.
