Jacob "Jake" W. Hinrichs, 88, of Ellsworth, died Friday, March 11, 2011, at Parkview Manor Nursing Home, Ellsworth.

Surviving are his wife, Marian Hinrichs, Ellsworth; five children, Ronald (Lynn) Hinrichs, Ellsworth, Marvin Hinrichs, Adrian, Arlene (Jim) Rosdahl, Northwood, Iowa, Jacob Hinrichs Jr., Ellsworth, and Ruth (John Mauch) Hinrichs, Adrian; one sister, Joyce Habbena, Ellsworth; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a prayer service at 8 p.m., and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Presbyterian Church, Ellsworth.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Presbyterian Church, Ellsworth, with the Rev. Calvin Hsu officiating. Burial will be in Grand Prairie Cemetery, Ellsworth
