MARIAN ALICE HINRICHS, 83, of Ellsworth, died Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Adrian Care Center.

She was born December 3, 1928. in rural Nobles County, to Harm and Mary (Timmerman) Solma. She attcndcd country school.

Marian married Jacob W. Hinrichs on April 1, 1947, in Ellsworth. After their marriage, the couple farmed south of Adrian for over sixtv two years. In 1987 they moved to Ellsworth. Marian also worked at Campbell's Soup Company, in Worthmgton, with over thirty years of loyal and faithful service. After retiring from Campbell's. Marian sold Avon and Watkins products for many years.

She was a member of the Zion Presbvterian Church in Ellsworth. She enjoyed fishing and traveling with Jake around the country looking at crops and wildlife.

Marian is survived by her four children, Marvin Hinrichs Adrian; Arlene (Jim Tanner) Rosdahl. Northwood, IA; Jacob Hinrichs Jr. Ellsworth: and Ruth (John Mauch) Hinrichs. Adrian, daughter-in-law. Lynn Hinrichs, Ellsworth; four grandchildren Jody (Merrily) Hinrichs. Ellsworth; Amy (Bryce Petersen Jorgensen. Northwood, IA; Christina (Ray) Palmer, Ellsworth and Kim (Phillip) Hannan. Adrian; ten great grandchildren, Jordon. Amber. Trei, Jenna, McKenna, Taylor, Kaci, Tristan, Khailee and Cody; sister, Marjorie Boltjes, Adrian; two sisters-in-law. Joyce Habbena, Omaha, NE; and Helen Solma. Rushmore and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband.Jake on
March 11. 2011: two sons, Robert and Ronald Hinrichs: an infant son; great grandson. Carter Palmer; brother, Harvey Solma: and Marvin's special friend. Janice Everson.
