"Marlyn Hansmann 1930 - 1984

Marlyn Hansmann was born Nov. 25, 1930 at George, Iowa, the son of Alfred and Elvina (Siebrands) Hansmann. He lived his youth and attended county school near George. He served in the U. S. Army from 1952 to 1954.

He married Joan Schoonhoven of Feb. 14, 1956. They farmed near George. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. He passed away at the Sibley Hospital on Sept. 15, 1984 at the age of 53 years, 10 months and 21 days.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Joan; 4 children: Darvin and (Karol) Hansmann, of Grand Island, Nebr., Maria (Mrs Randy Van Briesen) of George, Iowa. Debra (Mrs Phillip Allen) of Riverside, Iowa, and Mark Hansmann, of George, Iowa; 3 grandchildren; his parents, Mr and Mrs Alfred Hansmann, of George, Iowa; 1 sister, LaVonne (Mrs Ted Molitor) of Sibley, Iowa.
