Joyce Colgrove, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. She was born on April 20, 1931 in Muncie, IN to Ivron and Dorothy (Alvey) Farmer.

Joyce was a 1949 graduate of Howe High School. She worked as a bank teller for Merchants National Bank in the 1970's and also worked at Barbie's Stitch and Stamp Nook. Joyce volunteered her time with the Eiteljorg Museum and the Speedway Public Library. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and reading, but most loved being a wife, mother and grandmother.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Colgrove; they were married on August 14, 1954.

She is survived by her children, Janet (Kevin) Bourke and Doug (Johanna) Colgrove; grandchildren; siblings, Alice (Earl) Scott and Randy (Stephanie Altman) Farmer. Joyce is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Nancy Farmer and Connie (Gilbert) Hooker; brother-in-law, Albert (Karen) Colgrove.
