"Kathleen Kay Lenon
October 13, 1951 - January 09, 2018

Kathleen's Obituary
Kathleen Kay Lenon, 66, of Gilbert, AZ passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Clermont, FL. Kathleen was born on October 13, 1951 in Frost, MN, daughter of Donald and Deloris (nee Skogen) Wentworth. She was a realtor and had previously worked for many years in the IT field for Canon.

Kathleen "Kathy" is survived by her loving family including daughter, Jamie (Tony) Monroy of Minneola, FL; mother, Dee (Leo) Zinnel of Spirit Lake, Iowa; sister, Charlene "Char" (Doug) Cooklin of Spirit Lake, Iowa; brother, Dan (Natalie) Wentworth of Sioux Falls, SD; partner, Kathryn Bricker of Gilbert, AZ and grandchildren, Benjamin and Joshua Monroy. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald and brother, Ricky Wentworth.

Kathy, lovingly known as "Grandma Turtle" by her family, lived life for her children and grandchildren. In addition to her daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons, Kathy's life was enhanced by her "adoptive" daughter, Stephanie, and her two girls, Savanna and Makayla. Nothing in this world made her happier than her four grandbabies.

Kathy had a zest for life and loved to travel. She was always up for fun and never missed an opportunity to make memories with friends and family. She often enjoyed vacations, filled with fun and adventure, or weekends relaxing while camping. Her favorite activity, though, was simply to sit and "shoot the shit" with those around her.
Her laugh was both infectious and uplifting. She was happy in life, and it radiated from her.

Kathy's greatest strength in life was her ability to love and support others. She was a gift to those who had the opportunity to know her, and she will be deeply missed. In honor of her, and in lieu of flowers, we simply request that you send your love and prayers up to her in Heaven.

Services for Kathy will be private."

Kathy's husband: Larry Lenon.
