Services were held Friday, June 10 at Lennox Ebenezer Presbyterian Church for Frieda Williams who, following a brief hospitalization, died at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls on Monday evening, June 6, 2005, due to complications of recent surgery. She attained the age of 82 years and 17 days.

Frieda Theresa Agena was born in the Germantown Parsonage, rural Chancellor on May 19, 1923, the daughter of Rev. Jacob and Louise (Boebel) Agena. She attended Lennox area schools and graduated from Lennox High School.

On Nov. 29, 1941 she was married to Alvin Williams at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Arthur Drake. She lived in Lennox most of her life and was employed at Anthony's Bakery for many years.

Frieda was long-time a member of Lennox Ebenezer Presbyterian Church.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Roger Alan Williams, six brothers and one sister and one son-in-law, Virgil White

Grateful for having shared her life are her three children, Donna White of Lennox, Linda Koedam and her husband, Sid, of Rock Valley, Iowa and Gary Williams of Sioux Falls; nine grandchildren; Alan (Karry) White, Tricia (Mike) Anderson, Darcy (Steve) Barrett, Roger (Kelly) White, Jeanie (Jim) Jacobsen, Mike (Angie) Koedam, Michelle Koedam, Chris Wlliams and Charlie Williams; 13 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
