Funeral services for Dennis D. Folkerts, 39, of Thompson were held Tuesday. February 11, at United Methodist Church in Thompson. Rev. Jung Sook Kim and Rev. Gary Marzolf officiated at the service. Interment was at Olena Mound Cemeteryin Buffalo Center with Winter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. ... Dennis Duane Folkerts, son of Menno and Everdena (Meyering) Folkerts, was born March 2, 1957, in Buffalo Center. He was baptized in the Methodist faith at the United Methodist Church in Thompson where he was confirmed and remained amember. Dennis graduated from the Thompson High School.
