Jesse A. Eick, 72, of 1022 East Main st., died at 1 p.m. Tuesday at County Memorial hospital, where he had been a patient two weeks. He was a retired employe of the Pretty Products Co., where he had worked 20 years.

Mr. Eick was born March 22, 1891, at Sherrodsville, Carroll county, a son of Eli B. and Sarah Ann Coneybeer Eick, and was married Jan. 25, 1913, to Nellie A. Cox, who survives. He was a member of Calvary Methodist church.

In addition to his wife, survivors are one son, Richard Eick, this city, one daughter, Mrs. Gail (Evelyn) Philabaum, this city; two brothers, Harry R. Eick, Fresno Route 1, and Lloyd Eick, Route 3; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Jones, Coshocton;four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. One brother is deceased.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Gibson and Bontrager funeral home in charge of Rev. Mark Polle and burial will be in South Lawn cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and atthe time of the funeral Friday.
