L. Wade Foster, 84, Sycks Trailer Court, died at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday in Coshocton County Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.
He was born May 26, 1891, in Coshocton County to Lewis J. and Carrie Lennon Foster. He was married to Jessie Ferrell and later to Goldie Wilson, both of who preceded him in death.
Foster was a farmer in the Canal Lewisville are most of his life and was a member of the Eagles Lodge 761.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Bernice) Barnes, 1416 Tomahawk Dr.; two sisters, Mrs. Wade (Ethel) Fisher, 209 Ùa Main St.; Mrs. Thomas (Nellie) Wilson, 733 Ùa Poplar St., nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and twogreat-great-grandchildren.
Two sons, a granddaughter, four brothers and three sister are deceased.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Canal Lewisville Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Dolick and Dr. Russell Hoy officiating. Burial will be in the Canal Lewisville Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday 7-9 p.m. at theGiven Coshocton Funeral Home and from noon until services at the church on Friday. Eagles Lodge 761 will conduct services at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
