According to a dispatch from New York city, Miss Lucille Shaeffer, aged 39, a former teacher in the Coshocton high school, and Charles S. Geese, aged 46, salesman of 424 West 110 st., New York city, obtained a marriage license at themunicipal bureau in that city today. They expect to be marred the latter part of the month.

Miss Shaeffer, who was born in this city, is the daughter of Charles and Josephine Sayer Shaeffer and now resides at 430 West 119th st. in New York city.

Mr. Geese is a native of Kimbolton and is the son of George and Catherine Sower Geese. He was divorced from his first wife in Reno, Nevada, last September.

Lucile Schaeffer was born March 28, 1891, in Coshocton, a daughter of Charles H. and Josephine Sayre Schaeffer, and was married April 25, 1930, to Charles S. Geese, who survives. She was a graduate of Coshocton high school and Bliss Business college at Columbus and attended Columbia university. She taught approximately 25 years in local schools and was a member of the Central high school faculty for a number ofyears. Besides her husband, the only other survivor is an aunt, Mrs. Edna Curtis, Los Angeles, Calif. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church, Order of Eastern Star No. 157 and the Chautauqua club. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Dawson funeral home in charge of Rev. Harold Kaser. Burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday until time for services.
