Born in Keene township, George was a son of Jacob and Agnes O'Neil Geese.
Surviving are on son James Geese of Mansfield; one daughter, Mrs. Agnes Ware of Washington D.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Beeks and Miss Maude Geese, both of Isleta. Five children one brother and two sisters are deceased.
After spending 39 years as an employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad, 35 years as a telegraph operator, he was forced to retire in 1937 due to ill health, and spent most of the last thirteen years in California.
He was a member of the Main St. Methodist Church, West Lafayette, and Masonic lodge No. 175 F.&A.M., Newcomerston.
