MOUNT PULASKI - Geraldine Wimda Zimmermann, 91, of Le Sueur, Minn., formerly of Mount Pulaski, passed away Wednesday (Aug. 13, 2008) at Gardenview Nursing Home, Le Sueur.

Cremation has taken place and burial will be at a later date at the Mount Pulaski Cemetery.

She was born on Dec. 10, 1916, in Golden, to Harry and Margaret Tholen Wible, the first of two daughters.

She graduated from Mount Pulaski High School in 1935 and from MacMurray College, Jacksonville, in 1939. She married Theodore Frederick Zimmermann on Aug. 15, 1942, at the Walla Walla Air Base Chapel in Walla Walla, Wash. ... She is survived by her son, Gary Zimmermann, Miami, Fla.; daughter, Ann (Tom) Gupton III, Le Sueur, Minn.; one sister, Jean Martin, Mount Pulaski; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. ..."
