VEGTER - Henry Vegter, age 83 of Jenison, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, March 11, 2001. He was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Michelle Faber; three brothers and two sisters. Surviving are his loving wife Helen; children, Elizabeth and Sid Harkema, Jane and Dirk Hoekstra, Sue and Stephen Sietsema, Marten and Marcia Vegter, Gerda and Arvin Gunnink, Case and Valerie Vegter; 26 grandchildren, 25 greatgrandchildren; brother Gerard Vegter. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ridgewood Christian Reformed Church, 1571 Baldwin Street, with the Reverends John Joldersma and Joel R. Boot officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 1889 Baldwin St in Jenison, and Wednesday 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at the Sunset Manor, 725 Baldwin. Memorial contributions may be made to Sunset Manor Association. If you are unable to attend the visitation or service, please sign the family's Memory Book at www.cookfuneralhome.com. 3 1 2 2 2 1
