Mabel (14409) b 8-28-1923 (she is currently at the Timely Mission Nursing Home in IA) was married twice and also had 2 children from a 3rd relationship. 1st marriage was to Dwain Byington b 1916 dom 8-1946 divorced 2-3-1947 had a childthat was put up for adoption, given name was Mabel Sue b 5-5-1945. 2nd marriage was to Mike Kadlecik (14661) b 5-19-1913 d 12-3-1982 dom was 8-30-1951 they had 4 children (3 are still living). Mike Jr b 5-16-1957 d 6-14-2001, Sherry b 1-19-1953, Gary b 1-17-1954 and Marsha b 8-19-1961 (Mike Sr had 2children with his 1st wife Marion Torneby - James born 9-14-1944 and Ronald b 10-24-1941, he also adopted Marion's dghtr Patricia b 2-10-1947). Mabel has 2 children with Donald E Aukes b 2-13-1922 d 11-17-2006, my dad said he doesn'tbelieve they were ever married and I can't locate a dom for them. Children are Dennis b 9-2-1942 and Rodney 4-29-1948. ..."

"Donald E. Aukes, 84

Donald E. Aukes, 84, of Conway, Arkansas died suddenly Friday morning, November 17, 2006. Don was born February 13, 1922, the oldest son of Reinder E. and Anna (Onken) Aukes of Buffalo Center. He was an Army veteran, being stationed inBurma, India during World War II. He lived in the Buffalo Center and Titonka area before moving to Arkansas where he operated the Aukes Flying Service for over 30 years.

Don is survived by his wife of 32 years, Trula Nell Marcus Aukes; son, Dennis Aukes and wife, Char, of Forest City; grandchildren, Shane Marcus of Conway, Shawna Evans and Bobby of Conway; Troy Aukes of Garner and Travis Aukes ofValencia, CA; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ray Aukes of Buffalo Center, Robert Aukes of Mt. Ida, Arkansas; Rollin Aukes of Kiester, MN and Loran Aukes of Forest City; three sisters, Ruby Hofbauer of Forest City, Millie Dontjeof Forest City and Mary Lou Khowassah of Iowa City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Russel Marcus, and siblings, Lily Weaver, Merle Aukes, Maxine Harms and Ervin Aukes. A commital service will be held at a later date."

Donald E. Aukes, 84, of Conway, Arkansas, died suddenly on Friday morning, November 17, 2006.

A committal service will be held at a later date. The Griffin-Laggett Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas, is handling the arrangements.

Don was born on February 13 1922, the oldest son of Reinder E. and Anna (Onken) Aukes of Buffalo Center. He was an Army veteran stationed in Burma, India during World War II. He lived in the Buffalo Center and Titonka areas before movingto Arkansas, where he operated the "Aukes Flying Service" for over 30 years.
