Funeral services were held Tuesday from Bethel Presbyterian church for Floyd Ross Rowley, 61, who died Saturday at the local hospital. The Rev. Wilhelm Hempel officiated. Internment was in the Summit Lake Township Cemetery.

Mr. Rowley was born September 23, 1907 at Ellsworth, the son of Daniel and Anna Johnson Rowley. His youth was spent at Iona, Wilmont and Fulda. He and Ethel Rogers were married at Rock Rapids, Iowa.

After their marriage, they lived at Fulda for a few years before coming to Reading, where he had lived the past 29 years. He was employed by Campbell Soup Co.

Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Douglas F. and Kim Allen, Reading, and three
daughters, Mrs., Marilyn Bruns and Mrs. Loren Johanning (Connie) of Adrian, and Mrs. Wilbur Pomranke (Judy) of Worthington.

He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two brothers, Daniel and Ezra, Fulda and one sister Mrs. Fred Gehl, Jackson.

Floyd Rowley was first married to Elizabeth A. Hinderer on February 11, 1931, Lime Lake Township, Avoca, Minnesota. To them one child was born of April 16, 1933 and he died April 21, 1933. Floyd and Elizabeth divorced.

Elizabeth Hinderer was born October 12, 1911 in Murray County. She was the daughter of Louis and Elizabeth (Heilig) Hinderer. Elizabeth was married at lease two more times. She married Franz Hagen June 15, 1941 and Unknown Cooper date unknown. Elizabeth died September 29, 1986 in Arizona
