Kenneth Heetland

Kenneth Heetland, age 75 of Ackley, passed away Nov. 3, 2004 at the Presbyterian Village in Ackley. Funeral services were held Nov. 8 at the United Methodist Church in Ackley, with burial in the Oakwood Cmetery in Ackley. Military Rites conducted by the Elliott-Keninger American Legion Post # 252 of Ackley.

Heetland was born on May 26, 1929 in Ackley, the son of Paul and Florence (Geerdes) Heetland. He attended Country School near Ackley and graduated from Ackley High School in 1946. He served in the U.S. Air Force.

Heetland was united in marriage with Laurabell Fink on Jan. 17, 1964 at the Little Brown"

Heetland is survived by: daughters Jolene (Kevin) Pieters of Steamboat Rock and Teresa (Gary) Willems of Ackley; sons Clark (Tammy) Muller of Isaquah, Wash., David (Jann) Muller and his wife of Camdenton, Mo. and Steven (Karen) Muller of St. Louis, MO; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister Pearl Harms of Wellsburg; and brothers Virgil Heetland of Ackley, Elmer Heetland of Iowa Falls, and Gordon Heetland of Ackley."
