"Funeral Services Held Monday, December 12 For Mary Anderson

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Anderson, 84, Lakota were held Monday, December 12 at 1:30 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church in Lakota. Pastor Alex P. Ayers officiated. Burial was in the Maple Hill Cemetery at Lakota. Winter FuneralHome of Buffalo Center was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Anderson passed away Thursday, December 8, at the Mercy Hospital in Mason City.

Mrs. Anderson was born March 20,1893 at German Valley. She married Bert Anderson on November 27, 1914. She spent most of her life in the Buffalo Center and Lakota area. She was living in her home in Lakota at the time of her death. Mr.Anderson died in June 1925.

Survivors include one son, Clarence of Lakota; and four daughters, Mrs. John Cordes of Lakota, Mrs. Martin Stecker, Mrs. Leonard Gray and Mrs. Mervin Gray, all of Titonka; 22 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; two brothers, HermanWirtjes of Bricelyn, Minnesota, -and Edward Wirtjes of Titonka and a host of other relatives and friends." <>
