'Rosemary Semon Limberg May 31, 1918 - October 1, 1996

BUFFALO CENTER - Rosemary Semon, dughter of Alfred and Esther Fandel Semon, was born May 31, 1918 at Whittemore in Kossuth County, IA.

She was married to Menno Limberg on Aug. 24, 1942 at Algona [IA]. They first lived near Woden and farmed until moving to the Buffalo Center area in 1943.

Rosemary died Tuesday, Oct. 1 (1996), in the Timely Mission Nursing Home at Buffalo Center. She was 78.

The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Father Craig Steimcl at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Buffalo Center. Burial was in Olena Mound Cemetery at Buffalo Center, the Winter Funeral Home is charge ofarrangements.

Casket bearers were Jim Bosma, Vern Risius, Lee Griffin, Jack Eisenhower, Mike Smith and Dave Yegge.

Honorary bearers were Jay Tapper, Troy Limberg, Eric Ball, Philip Delgado, and Scott Delgado.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Menno; four daughters and a son, Carolyn, Mrs. Loren Jacobsen, West Des Moines; Marjorie, Mrs. Bill Ball, Carl Junction, MO; Jean, Mrs. Steve Anderson, Mankato, MN; Sharon, Mrs. Charles Delgado,Newton and Bill, Blue Springs, MO. There are 13 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Three sisters also survive, Annabelle, Mrs. Loren Courtney, Algona; Marie, Mrs. Rosky Welp, Mesa, AZ and Vera, Mrs. Pat Bradley, Burt. A daughter, Mary Klaassen and her parents are deceased.'
