Note: Obituary Clipping: Charles E. Root 19 Sept 1932 Charles E. Root, 52, of Newton Township, died at a local hospital at 3:30 this morning. He had been ill since Friday. He was born in Barry County. He is survived by his wife, a son, Nelson Racine Root, a daughter, Leila at home, a brother, Kearney Root and a sister, Mrs. Julia Eddy of Battle Creek. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Newton Church and burial will be there. The Rev.Reigalman will be in charge of the services. Friends may call at the Shaw Funeral Home until noon Wednesday.
