The wedding article: "The Webster Daily News, Webster City, IA, Thursday, February 9, 1922

A wedding occurred yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Koop, three miles east of Kamrar, when their daughter, Harmka, was given in marriage to Mr. Samuel Huisman, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Huisman, of Kamrar. Rev. H. N. Gerdes, pastor of the German Presbyterian church of Kamrar, officiated and Miss Lena Gerdes played the wedding march which was "The Swedish Wedding March," while the young people, unattended, took their places. The bride was charmingly attired in white Canton crepe elaborately embroidered, and carried Ophelia roses. The home was tastefully decorated with roses and ferns and about two hundred guests witnessed the ceremony. Following congratulations, a dainty two course supper was served.

The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Jens Huisman and baby, and Miss Elizabeth Huisman, of Ackley; Mrs. C. H. Tackett, of this city.

The young people will go to housekeeping in Kamrar, from which point Mr. Huisman has a territory as traveling salesman."
