Funeral services held for Irvin Pannkuk, 61

Funeral services were held for Irvin Pannkuk, 61 on Wednesday, December 21 at 1:30 p.m. in the Ramsey Reformed Church with Rev. Larry Ten Haken officiating. Irvin passed away suddenly at his farm home Sunday, December 18.

Interment was in Ramsey Reformed Cemetery with Garry, Roberts, Schaaf Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Casket bearers were Keith Bartelt, Melvin Ricklefs, Vernon Ricklefs, John Ubben, Herman Ubben and Mervin Gray. Music was furnished by Mrs. Richard Beenken, organist and the Ladies Quartet.

Irvin Leroy Pannkuk, the son of John and Lena (Schrader) Pannkuk, was born July 17, 1922 at Titonka, Iowa. He received his grade school education in German Township and graduated from Titonka High School in 1940.

On March 24, 1943, Irvin was united in marriage to Marjorie Huisman at the Ramsey Reformed Church. They farmed north of Titonka on the family farm where Irvin lived his entire life.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; three sons, Loren of Titonka, Stuart of Webster City and Brian of Titonka; and one daughter, Mrs. Steve (Nola) Ryan of Des Moines. Also surviving are five grandchildren, two brothers, John of Titonka and Raymond of Lompoc, CA and two sisters, Ada (Mrs. William Wertjes) of Lakota and Alice Pannkuk of Titonka.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Regina and one sister."
