The text of his obituary, a newspaper clipping, provenance unknown addid by Louis on 15 Mar 2013:

"DR. EMORY M. SAYLOR

Dr. Emory M. Saylor, 48, of Hill City, Minn., formerly of Waterloo, died unexpectedly at 7 p.m. Thursday in Hill City of a heart attack.

Dr. Saylor was born Feb. 12, 1904, in Orange township, the son of Daniel and Hattie Saylor. He was graduated from the Palmer School of Chiropractic, Davenport, and practiced in Waterloo in the late twenties. He then farmed near Orange until 1938 when he moved to Denver, Ia., where he farmed for two years. From Denver he moved to Hill City where he was engaged in farming and the machinery business. He was also justice of the peace in Hill City.

He was married to Sylvia Nation 23 years ago. She died 11 years ago. He then was married nine years ago to Dorothy Neighbor. While in Waterloo he was a member of the First Brethern church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Francis and Kent, both at home; two brothers, Harold M. Saylor, 1520 Ridgeway avenue, and Merwin Saylor, Nogales, Ariz., and two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Denning, 912 West Ninth street, and Mrs. Telford Harmer, 111 Berich avenue. His prents, first wife, one daughter ad one son preceded him in death.

The body is being returned to Waterloo for burial."

From his obituary, Gary Lee Saylor (1940-1950) & Francis N. Saylor (1941-1954) are by his first wife, Sylvia Nation. Kent Leroy Saylor is by his 2nd wife, Dorothy Naber.
