Freda Mae Huisman, the daughter of Meint and Leona (Naber) Huisman, was born on September 9, 1915, in Winnebago Co., Iowa. As an infant she and her family moved to the Willmar area where she grew up and received her education. She then moved to the Litchfield, Glencoe and Hutchinson areas before settling down back in Litchfield. She chose to serve the Lord at an early age and kept true to her commitment through out her life. This was demonstrated by her kindness and by holding many jobs which were all related to care giving and service to others. Freda enjoyed keeping records; particularly family history and special dates. She taught herself how to use the computer which helped her keep these records. She will be remembered as a very caring person.

She is survived by her brother, Wilfred (and Geraldine) Huisman of Grove City, sisters; Mary Huisman of Litchfield, Emma Henderson of Glencoe, Lois (and Dean) Larson of Bloomington and Laura (and Steve) Wilkerson of Oroville, WA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a multitude of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; William and George Huisman and sisters; Martha Huisman and Esther Pratt.
