Note: Kenneth B. Kuper April 12, 1919 - Nov. 4, 1998 Ken Kuper was born in Tacoma and lived on a farm in the Spanaway area. He was a graduate of Kapowsin High School. Ken retired as a bus driver from the Bethel School District, and formerly held positions as school custodian, newspaper carrier and U.S. Postal service employee. He also helped at his father's grocery store, Kuper's Korner, for many years. Ken was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed a wide circle of friends. He was an avid sportsman and fan, playing regularly in horseshoes, softball, and bowling leagues (He bowled a perfect sanctioned 300 game at age 70). Ken was an active community member, he was a retired volunteer fire fighter of 25 years, he umpired youth league baseball, and was a PTA Golden Acorn recipient. Ken was actively involved in his church and had a strong faith that guided his life. He attended Spanaway Assembly of God for many years and more recently Clover Creek Bible Fellowship. Ken is survived by his wife, Lois; son, Larry Kuper (Mona); daughters, Margie Bellmer and Darlene Keen (Gregg); brothers, Earl and Bob Kuper; and six grandchildren: Jessica and Alan Kuper, Michael and Angela Bellmer, and Emily and Joshua Keen. A public memorial service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 2:00 p.m. at Clover Creek Bible Fellowship, 17708 28th Ave. E.
