While living there, he met Alice Bicker of Pearl City, Illinois. She was thedaughter of William and Sabrina (Penticoff) Bicker. She was born on November 6, 1881, spending most of her early life in that vicinity. In March of 1903, John and Alilce were united in marriage at Freeport, Illinois. ..."
