'2068 Honken, Hinderk, Arbeiter in Stapmh.; oo Maria Peters geb. Hinders
Katharina Liebedina * 25.10.1878 in Boen, ~ 24.1.1883. in der Schule in Stapmh.
Johann * 23.4.1883 in Boen, ~ 24.1.1883, in der Schule in Stapmh.'

The date of birth for Johann more likely is 24.4.1882. It is difficult to be born after being baptized in a school with your older sister.

Based on the way this entry is presented, it would behove us to check the Boen parish records. It may be that Maria was married previously to NN Peters. It may be that NN Peters is the father of Katharina and Johann. What of otherolder children? Why the wait until Katharina was over 4 years old before she was baptized? Even waiting most of a year after birth for Johann to be baptized is later than what seems normal at the Stapelmoor parish. - D.A. Navorska -xxii Nov MMXI - Irving, TX <>
