Marilyn B. Clay, 73, of Delta, OH, passed away Monday, January 14, 2002, at her home. She was born July 6, 1928, to Murlin and Mary Falor. After graduating from Delta High School, she attended college at Capital University, and graduated from the University of Toledo with with bachelors and masters degrees in elementary education. She was an elementary teacher 26 years for Pike Delta York Schools. She was also a freelance writer with several publishedarticles. Marilyn was interested in genealogy and was a member of the Fulton County Historical Society. She was a member of the former Missionary Church in Swanton, where she taught Sunday School and played the church organ.

She is survived by Richard, her husband of 53 years; four sons, David (Sandra), Jim (Lynne), Eric (Laura), and Loren (Rose); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, James (Verna) Falor, Ray (Kay) Falor, and two sisters, Sue (Kenneth) Biddle and Nancy (Harvey) Beaverson.

The family will receive friends at the Miller Funeral Home, Delta, on Wednesday, January 16, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Her memorial service will be conducted by Revernd Burley Clay on Thursday, January 17, at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties, or to the church or charity of the donor's choice."
