Steven, 71, passed away at 8:30 a.m., at his home.

He was a son to John and Claudine (Garner) Shrock. On Feb 15, 1958, he married Karen Smith, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Steven Jr. (Tami), Versailles, Dave (Shelley), Celina, and Scott, Mendon; one brother, John Joseph (Sharon), Newport, NC; and three grandchildren.

He retired from the former Avco New Idea plant in Coldwater. He and his wife were involved in breeding and raising Labrador retrievers. They owned Justlabslabradors for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Lord's Church, Celina.

Graveside services will be with Pastor Randy Christian, officiating.
