'... Elsie Mae COLE ... Sex: F Birth: 31 Jan 1894 in Ohio 1 Death: 19 Jun 1955 in Monroe, MI Burial: Rose Lawn Cemetery, Monroe, MI Note: O.K. family members, here is some clarification on the duel Cole line's running in our family. (1)Elsie May Cole was the sister of Clarence 'Dub' Nelson Cole (2) Clarence Cole married Emma (Ochs) Cole, 'Old Granny Cole'. (3) Emma (Ochs) and Clarence Cole are the parents of Boots Mize (Beaulah Cole) (4) Elsie May Cole married EllsworthSmith, the parents of Miles Smith. (5) Marie Fix, was the daughter of Emma Ochs (Granny Cole) and her first husband, Abraham Fix. Marie married Miles Smith. And that is how Marie is Bootsie's half sister AND her cousin in law. And howEmma (Ochs) Cole was not only Miles' mother-in-law, but also his aunt. Which makes makes Miles the brother-in-law AND first cousin of Boot's. Got it now? There will be a test later....
